Travel schedule
Spend eight nights from 14th February 2025 in the African wilderness with the group to (learn to) take the most beautiful wildlife photos. Guaranteed that you will go home with the most spectacular photos and endless unforgettable memories. This trip is for photographers of all levels, from beginners to pros.
Arusha
After arriving at Kilimanjaro Airport near Arusha, you will be welcomed by our organization and brought to our first accommodation of this photography trip in Tanzania. Lovely to recover, get to know the group and relax before we leave early tomorrow morning.
Northern Serengeti
After breakfast, leave the accommodation on the west side of Arusha to Arusha Airport, 20 minutes away. From here, you fly to the north of the Serengeti.
You land at the Kogatende airstrip, in the middle of the Serengeti, where you will be picked up by your guides and private jeeps and taken to your accommodation. This drive is also a beautiful game drive where you will be amazed by the many wild animals you encounter.
We enjoy lunch in the ‘bush’ and arrive at our safari camp in the afternoon. The camp has the ultimate safari setting; quietly situated in the middle of nature, with evenings by the campfire and a delicious dinner under the stars: welcome to Africa!
Serengeti North continued
We will be staying the next few days and nights in the north of Serengeti National Park, the place where the mass migration of wildebeest takes place during this season. It is a beautiful and diverse area with rivers, valleys, hills and endless plains.
This is also the area near the famous Mara River; the river of the spectacular crossings during the migration. The Valhalla for photography.
At night you point your camera at the starry sky and photograph the brightest stars. You practice capturing the Milky Way, look for a beautiful tree that can serve as a foreground and experiment with photographing star trails: so much fun to do!
Serengeti Central
You leave early in the morning after breakfast on safari, straight through the Serengeti southwards, to the area between Seronera and South Serengeti. On the way – a beautiful route -, we will encounter many animals, for which we will of course stop if it is worth it and experience beautiful photo moments.
We spend the night in this area in a somewhat simpler but of course comfortable accommodation, in a beautiful place and has a nice atmosphere and setting.
Tarangire
This morning we leave for Tarangire National Park. On the way you will pass through the varied area of the Ngorongoro Highlands with beautiful views. Here you will experience the real Maasai life. We drive past the crater viewpoint and through the villages of Karatu and Mto wa Mbu. A beautiful place for a local lunch under the banana trees.
Upon arrival in Tarangire we will make an afternoon safari until the sun sets, after which you will go to your accommodation for a beautiful view and a delicious dinner.
The next day is all about safaris, both morning and afternoon. Tarangire National Park is known for its gigantic baobab trees and large groups of elephants. A river flows through the park that attracts many animals during the drier months.
Departure
On this last morning we will make another morning safari in this rugged park. Then we will leave Tarangire National Park at the beginning of the afternoon and you will be taken to Kilimanjaro Airport to return home, where you will arrive the next day.
Along the way you will enjoy the changing landscapes with beautiful plains and hills.
