Travel schedule
Spend eight nights from 14th February 2025 in the African wilderness with the group to (learn to) take the most beautiful wildlife photos. Guaranteed that you will go home with the most spectacular photos and endless unforgettable memories. This trip is for photographers of all levels, from beginners to pros.
Arusha
After arriving at Kilimanjaro Airport near Arusha, you will be welcomed and transferred to our first accommodation of this photography trip in Tanzania. Great to relax, get to know the group and relax before we set off early tomorrow morning.
Lake Manyara
After breakfast we leave in our 4×4 jeep with guide for the coming week to Lake Manyara National Park. In 2 hours we drive to Mto wa Mbu. This typical African village has a colorful market with lots of fresh fruit and local vegetables. Here we take a walk through the village, nice to shoot a few first atmospheric photos!
Arriving at Lake Manyara National Park we immediately go on safari. Who knows, we might even encounter the famous tree-climbing lions, flamingos and large herds of elephants… and that’s just on the way to our camp for the next 2 nights: the Lake Manyara Green Camp! We enjoy lunch in the bush and dinner is served around a campfire: welcome to Africa!
Lake Manyara
Today is all about the photo safari. In the morning we take a nice walk and we go on foot in search of beautiful animals, small details and beautiful landscapes.
In the afternoon we get into the jeep for a safari. Photographing the tree-climbing lions is high on the wish list, so we will do everything we can to find these magnificent beasts.
Sunset means sundowner drinks in an unbeatable location! And dinner? That will be fun around the campfire again!
Serengeti
On the way to the Serengeti – a dazzling itinerary – we encounter many animals, for which we obviously stop when it is worth the shot. As with the viewpoint of the Ngorongoro Crater. This is nature at its finest!
The Green Camp is set up at the exact place where the great migration is located: the huge herds of wildebeests and zebras together with their new-borns, with countless predators in their wake: lions, cheetahs and leopards. Right behind them, hyenas, jackals and vultures clear away the remains. An unforgettable experience!
At night we practice capturing the Milky Way!
Ngorongoro
Today you will descend after breakfast for a safari in the Ngorongoro Crater; a world famous crater where you can easily spot the Big Five. We will get up early today to be up in the crater; a beautiful and unique area.
A picnic lunch will be taken for lunch.
At the end of the day we drive to the lodge in Karatu, just outside the Ngorongoro highlands.
Departure
Today is a relaxed morning, in which we can possibly visit a village or plan another activity.
Around noon we drive towards Kilimanjaro Airport to return home, where you arrive the next day!
