You enjoy each other’s company, the thousands of animals and stylish dinners under the stars. Follow the mass migration of wildebeest as they migrate through the Serengeti, and look for flamingos and tree-climbing lions at Lake Manyara. During the holidays you will be pampered even more, and you enjoy being together. In short, an adventurous, atmospheric and varied end to the old year and a sparkling start to the new year.
Arusha
The journey starts in Arusha city, the safari capital of Tanzania. You will be met at the airport and enjoy the first evening in a comfortable lodge, in the outskirts of the city. At this nice place you can immediately enjoy a snack and drink and the sound of crickets and birds in the background.
Lake Manyara
Before arriving at Lake Manyara National Park, you will drive through the village of Mto wa Mbu. This typical African village has a colorful market. You get a good impression of everyday life. You will then stay for two nights in our Green Camp, in the middle of the park, where you can also take a walking or night safari. Your Christmas dinner is extra attractively decorated and takes place under the stars.
Serengeti
The road from the Ngorongoro Highlands to the Serengeti is one of the most beautiful routes in Tanzania. Serengeti literally means ‘endless plains’. You have probably never been able to see that far in your life. Millions of animals all year round this park, which has so much to offer. You spend the night in a luxury safari camp, on the edge of a river gorge, where a lot of wildlife migrates.
Zanzibar
You say goodbye to the guide and fly to Zanzibar Island. A beautiful flight with special views. In the coming days you will enjoy sun, sea and sand on the tropical island of Zanzibar. At the lodge you can relax on the beach or undertake various activities. The old year is almost over, the new is about to begin.
Departure
In the evening you fly from Zanzibar Island – via Dar es Salaam or Nairobi – back to Amsterdam (or home destination) where you arrive the next morning. You start the new year relaxed and full of inspiration.
