About Hippo Trails Camp

Hippo Trails Camp is nestled in the wilderness in the middle of the Serengeti on the slope of Banagi Hill, not far from the Retima Hippo pool and with views down to the river.

Hippo Trails Camp is located on the migration trail in the Seronera area of Serengeti National Park. Countless ungulates pass through the camp in June/July and October/November every year.

The well-trained staff will take care of all your needs with a smile, so that you feel at home in the bush!

The property

The twelve classic tents of Hippo Trails Camp – including two family tents – are spacious, comfortable and attractively furnished.
They are set on raised wooden platforms and offer a beautiful view from your veranda of the passing game all the way to the river.

There is plenty of space to relax in the lounge tent with free wifi. Meals are served in the dining tent, which also has a well-tocked bar.
