About Selous Impala Camp

Selous Impala Camp is located on the Rufiji River in the east of the vast Selous Game Reserve. This unspoilt area has the largest elephant population in the world.

Selous Impala Camp is located between two beautiful lakes – Mzizima and Siwandu – that attract a rich variety of game all year round.

A great place under Borassus palms and tamarind trees.

The property

Selous Impala Camp has six very comfortable Meru-style tents and three family tents, which are built on wooden platforms, all overlooking the river.

In the common area with a large porch you’ll find the dining and lounge with comfortable seating and pool. Here you eat ‘off the grid’, from all the good things the country has to offer.

The tents of Selous Impala Camp are built on wooden platforms and have a porch overlooking the river, a comfortable bed, a dressing area and a bathroom with shower and toilet.
The two family tents consist of two en-suite tents sharing one platform.
