About Tarangire Safari Lodge
Tarangire Safari Lodge is located on the edge of Tarangire National Park and has one of the most spectacular viewpoints in Tanzania.
From the porch of Tarangire Safari Lodge you can see the many animals in the park below you, including hundreds of elephants.
Annette has been one of the managers of the Tarangire Safari Lodge since its inception (1983), ensuring consistent quality and a welcoming atmosphere.
The property
At Tarangire Safari Lodge you can choose from one of 40 permanent tents or a stone bungalow, both with thatched roofs and a private veranda, with great views over the park and the Tarangire River.
Along the paths – surrounded by baobab trees – you reach the swimming pool and the restaurant with an extensive buffet and good service.

The safari tents of Tarangire Safari Lodge, with thatched roofs and large windows with mesh screens, offer the perfect opportunity to see and hear nature. All safari tents are equipped with a private bathroom with solar-heated showers and ample wardrobe space for your belongings.
The round bungalows, built in Maasai boma style, offer a more spacious option for family and triple rooms. The spacious bungalows have a lot of privacy, a porch with a beautiful view and are all equipped with a large bathroom and comfortable beds with local textiles.
