About Tarangire Simba Lodge
Tarangire Simba Lodge is located next to the Sangaiwe gate of the Tarangire National Park. In a natural area with unobstructed views of the beautiful Lake Burunge.
During the dry season, groups of elephants, giraffes, waterbuck, zebras and more flock to a small waterhole in front of Tarangire Simba Lodge. To be admired from your room or from the elevated viewing platform by the pool.
A giant old Baobab tree on the property, reflects the real Africa.
The Property
Tarangire Simba Lodge has 24 classic tents under thatched roof, with private terrace, ensuite bathroom and outdoor shower.
The chef serves healthy continental dishes, with plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables, using the best local ingredients. Special diets are possible.

The spacious tents are built on platforms complete with wooden floors, large en-suite dressing room, toilet and shower.
In addition, there is an outdoor shower and each tent has its own veranda overlooking the bush and Lake Burunge. The furniture is handmade from African hardwood, complemented by tastefully selected fabrics.
