About Usawa Serengeti

Usawa Serengeti is an intimate and exclusive mobile safari tented camp on the migration route in Serengeti National Park.

‘Usawa’ means balance in Swahili, referring to the perfect harmony in which the different species of wildlife in the Serengeti live together. Always moving, always changing, always in balance. Where the herds are, there is Usawa Serengeti.

You are sitting in the front row of Africa’s biggest spectacle, at the right time and in the right place. Close to the action and far from the hustle and bustle.

The property

 The six luxury safari tents are tastefully decorated in a safari style, have their own bathroom, a personal coffee bar and overlook the vast plains of the Serengeti. The camp can also be booked as a whole.

Usawa Serengeti’s chef offers a gourmet menu of fantastic dishes, prepared with locally sourced and sustainable products. But only after a delicious drink by the campfire.

The safari tent camps of Usawa Serengeti move with the continuously migrating herds of ungulates and are therefore always close to the game. But at a considerable distance from the more touristy areas.
