What an incredibly special country!
Already during the first taxi ride from the airport to the first accommodation you are completely immersed in all the new impressions. Thanks to Explore Tanzania and their great guides we immediately felt welcome and we could really get to know this beautiful country. No wonder that Karibu (welcome) is the first Swahili word we knew! 
The lovely, hospitable people, the delicious food and not to forget the beautiful nature and the accompanying wildlife. Tanzania really has it all!

A good mix of active and relaxing, nature and culture.
During our safaris in Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro we spotted the big 5 and a whole lot of other animals with the help of our experienced guide. Besides a lot of beautiful pictures this also gave us a whole lot of new knowledge about the animals and nature, our guide knew a lot to tell about it.
Around the safaris we visited local villages, where we walked with a guide through the market and even got to take a look in the classroom at the local primary school, super special!
After all those busy and intensive safari days, a few days of recovery on Zanzibar were also an absolute must, although there is more than enough to do and lots of experience there. We would have enjoyed ourselves for another week.
