The Nyerere National Park is a picturesque, unique safari destination and belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Selous Wild Reserve as the oldest and largest protected nature reserve in Tanzania. More than half of all Tanzanian elephants live here, but you also find leopards, hyenas, hippos and giraffes. You might even spot the endangered, wild dog in its natural environment here.

A Tanzanian adventure with 4 days of safari and 5 days of beach to end the trip.
You will stay for four nights in a comfortable camp in the middle of the Nyerere National Park. From here you fly to the tropical island of Zanzibar where you stay for five nights in a wonderful place, right on the beautiful white sandy beach.
Dar es Salaam
Your trip begins in Dar es Salaam; the economic heart of Tanzania. You’re welcomed at the airport and brought to your accommodation. You spend the first evening in a comfortable hotel located along the water in a suburb of Dar es Salaam. A pleasant place for you to enjoy a late-night snack and drink to recover from the flight.
Nyerere
Enjoy four days in the Nyerere National Park. You alternate safaris by jeep and by boat. From a boat on the Rufiji river you can easily see the natural behaviour of the animals. Sailing among the hippos, crocodiles and the many birds is a truly unforgettable experience. In addition to a safari jeep, the Nyerere National Park is one of the few sanctuaries where a safari on foot is allowed. With an expert guide you can see the animals and their tracks up close.
Zanzibar
You continue the journey by plane to the tropical island of Zanzibar, the place in the Indian Ocean where Arabia and Africa meet. Zanzibar is characterized by quiet fishing villages, pristine white, heavenly beaches and the bustling Stone Town. The perfect location to combine with the safari in Tanzania.
Departure
In the afternoon you leave Zanzibar (via Nairobi or Dar es Salaam) back to your home destination. Depending on your flight, you arrive the next morning.
