About Babu Villas

Babu Villas is a small-scale accommodation on the white and fine sandy beach in the heart of Jambiani on the east coast of Zanzibar.

Babu means grandfather in Swahili, Bibi grandmother. The elderly on Zanzibar ‘Wazee’ receive a lot of respect. They give advice, but also permission and blessings to the rest of the family.

Babu Villas is a nice and cozy place if you are looking for peace, purity and perfection.

The property

Babu Villas consists of three modern apartments; Babu Villa, Bibi Chini and Bibi Juu. They are built with a focus on light and space and have fantastic views of the ever-changing colors of the Indian Ocean.

At Babu Villas, supplies are provided for your self-service breakfast.
There are many restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

Rooms

All three apartments at Babu Villas have ceiling fans and air conditioning in the bedrooms, as well as fans in the living room. There are additional sofa beds in the living room. The kitchens are fully equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, gas stove, coffee maker and dining area. Each bedroom has a private bathroom with free toiletries and a hairdryer. Babu Villas provides bed linen, towels and beach towels.

The spacious apartments can be booked separately (3 units) or as a whole, exclusively (12 beds in total).
