Bougainvillea Safari Lodge is located on the outskirts of Karatu town, about halfway between Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater.

The houses of Bougainvillea Safari Lodge are built in a tropical garden, around the swimming pool and offer simple comfort in a homely atmosphere.

The owner Reginald Bayo is an excellent chef and knows how to spoil his guests.

The property

Because it cools down nicely here at night, the 32 cottages of Bougainvillea Safari Lodge all have a cozy fireplace. From the veranda you have a beautiful view of the tropical garden and the swimming pool.

The restaurant serves delicious and freshly prepared meals, made from local – and products from our own garden.
