The rooms at Irente Farm Lodge are spread across the main building – Tambwe and Myuku – and the thatched cottages on the property – Mkindu and Mshai –.

At Irente Farm Lodge they have the following room types:

• Family Suite, king and twin (1-4p)

Price indication

From € 40 to € 45 pppn (lodging & breakfast).

Socially involved

Irente Farm Lodge is part of the Irente Biodiversity Reserve and is owned by the North Eastern Diocese of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Tanzania.

Irente Biodiversity Reserve aims to integrate conservation, production and rural development through a mix of activities that take into account the interests of both people and biodiversity.

In addition to the Irente Church, there are three social institutions on the site;

• Irente School for the Blind,
• Irente Children’s Home,
• The Rainbow School for children with intellectual disabilities.

Irente Farm Lodge uses solar energy, farms organically, recycles waste where possible, is involved in the local community and supports local professionals.
