About Kisolanza The Old Farm House

Kisolanza The Old Farm House is located on the crisp, cool elevation of Tanzania’s scenic southern highlands and has been home to the Ghaui family since the 1930s.

Originally planted with tobacco, Kisolanza is still a fully working farm with cattle, sheep and a variety of crops.

An ideal retreat with all the comforts.

The accommodation

The Old Farm House has several luxury cottages, camping spots, plus a good restaurant with bar, a farm shop and a spa.

In the atmospheric Mud Ruins bar and restaurant you can enjoy delicious farm-fresh home-cooked meals. Here you eat by candlelight and lanterns among the ruins of a traditional Kihehe building.
