About fifteen years ago we, friends Jurgen and Walter, had agreed to walk to the top of Kilimanjaro.

We decided last year and our trip to Tanzania started on October 2, 2023.

 

 

After a day of travel and a day in Arusha National Park, the time had come; our eight-day hike on the Lemosho route to the Uhuru peak started.

 

 

What a unique experience to spend eight days together with all the focus, friendly guides, a helpful crew and many beautiful views and views of Kilimanjaro.

 

 

We reached the Uhuru summit, but above all we had a wonderful journey that we will always remember.
