About Kaliwa Lodge
The atmospheric Kaliwa Lodge is located at the foot of Kilimanjaro, at an altitude of 1300 meters and only a few minutes away from the Machame entrance gate to Kilimanjaro National Park.
The owners strive to create and maintain a natural, unique and relaxed atmosphere in the lodge and find it very important for guests to feel welcome and relaxed.
With this relaxed and natural appearance – above the river valley – this is a popular spot for yogis.
The property
The bungalows of Kaliwa Lodge are situated under old eucalyptus trees and between large banana plants, coffee bushes and exotic flowers in the middle of the Kilimanjaro rainforest.
Chef Sam and his team prepare the most delicious dishes with love and use as many local ingredients as possible.
